Closed Beta Test 5: April 6-8
Our fifth closed beta will bring it all together: the search for Elleon, the battle against the Cult of Lok, and the promise of more to come…
Closed Beta Test 5 Information:

Maximum Level: 38
Character Slots per Server: 3
Servers: Arachnaea (PvE), Serpentis Isle (PvE), Dragonfall (PvE),
Valley of Titans (PvP), and Jagged Coast (PvP)
Duration: Friday, April 6 at 12:00 PM Pacific to Sunday, April 8
at 11:59 PM Pacific

For all those who don’t know, every CBT has a contest of some sort that is going on. They want you to be creative!

Be creative, be smart, or be lucky in one of three contest series being held during our final three closed beta tests. Capture footage, design infographics, cut videos, or simply play your characters to the level cap for a chance to score prizes from Logitech and En Masse Entertainment!

For CBT 5, they want you to answer the question: “what is TERA?” through a narrative machinima video.

Do this and you might just win some Logitech goodies! Here are the submissions details and rules.

Tera Closed Beta Test 4 (CBT4)

The fourth Tera closed beta is starting this Friday! They will be deploying a new patch which will be available on March 21 at 3:00 PM PDT for 2 hours. During this time, Tera gamers will not be able to patch and they also state that this isn’t a long term solution and are working on methods to make this easier for future patch updates. Once the patch is succesfull, the game will be open to download the 9 MB patch updated.

  • Duration: Friday, March 23 at 12:00 PM PDT to Sunday, March 25 at 11:59 PM PDT
  • Servers: Arachnaea (PvE), Serpentis Isle (PvE), Valley of Titans (PvP), and Jagged Coast (PvP)
  • Maximum Level: 38
  • Character Slots per Server: 3

Tera Guide: Closed beta test #3

TERA Online is going forward to its Closed Beta 3 this weekend. If you have not been invited into the Close Beta yet, it’s probably because you have not pre-ordered the game. You can pre-order here. Here are also the latest patch notes for the PVP system. A major change is that now players who kill lower level players will now all receive “the red name of shame and their punishment will be left up to the community”.

Tera Closed Beta Receives New Patch: CBT 2

The second Tera closed beta testing is coming around the corner and En Masse Entertainment has revealed in a blogpost that a new patch has been uploaded for Tera CB testers to download. This patch mainly deals with a lot of bug fixes as well as general fixes. The new additions are for PVP and Guild Wars.

Tera PVP will now be available on 2 servers: Valley of the Titan & Jagged Coast. Note that PVP starts at level 11.

As far as PVE, it is still available on Arachnaea and Serpentis Isle.

Guild war battles are now ready to be used. En Masse has reduced the costs for guild battle by a big amount to make it easy to challenge other guilds during the Tera CBT.

  • 30,000 gold to wage war
  • 3,000 gold to forfeit or punk out
