History

As the creations of the god Gidd, the Humans displayed an innate rebelliousness and capacity for mischief. When Gidd denied the Humans a homeland, they devised a plan to exact revenge by stealing his divine treasures, but this was discovered, and the angry god punished the race to wander until the ends of time. The goddess of the hunt, Velik, took pity on the humans and granted them a homeland, now known as the City of Wheels, Velika.

Human Relations and Conflicts

Humans are the most diplomatic of the races in the Valkyon Federation. In their years of traveling, the Humans encountered different societies that helped them gain a broader view of politics and culture. They are widely considered to be the leader among equals, and are a source of inspiration for the rest of the races as standing proof that dreams can be achieved if you fight long enough for them.

Capital City: Velika

The human capital of Velika comes by many names. It is the City of Wheels, for in the center of the city stands a giant, constantly turning wheel created by the goddess Velik which provides magical energy to the bustling Human workshops and factories. It is also known as the City of Falcons. Awestruck visitors even refer to it as Velik’s Dream, suggesting the limitless possibilities of Human ability empowered by her divine blessing.
